Regular Giving is available for many of our registered charities and can be set up by any one with a valid credit card.
When a regular giving donation is declined, EDH Support receive an automated email notification containing a link to the donation in our system and details on why the donation has declined.
If a credit card has declined because the card has passed it's expiry date, then we do not attempt to process the donation again.
For any other donation we will find the donation in our system, update the "Next Payment" date to the current day and attempt to push the donation through again. More often than not this fixes the issue and the donation processes successfully.
If a donation declines after we have repeated this process three times, we will email the donor and let them know that their regular donations have ceased.
