Wanting to participate in Operation Refugee - Be The Lifeline and raise money for a good cause? You've come to the right place!
Step 1: Register for the event
Navigate to the Operation Refugee registration by using this link.
Select if you would like to do the 5 Day or 3 Day Operation Refugee Challenge.
Step 2: Enter your details
The address you enter will be the address your ration pack is sent to.
Step 3: Select your team
You will be given the option to either create a new team, or join an existing team. If you create a new team you will be the Team Leader and can edit the team page. If you are joining an existing team you will have your own individual fundraising page, and be shown on the team page as a team member.
If you're not already an Everydayhero member you will be prompted to sign up for an account.
Not everyone from the team needs to register at once, so if other team members will be registering later that's totally ok, they just need to select the existing team.
*Please note, if you don't wish to be part of a team, that's ok, just ignore this section.
Step 4: Are you doing holding your event between 16th to 20th June 2019?
If you're not, enter in the dates you will be walking.
Step 5: Register another person or complete your registration
If you're registering another person, make sure you use a different email address. If you created a team, this person will automatically be joined to your team.
Step 5: Your page has been created!
You can access your fundraising page by clicking on the 'View My Page' button. You'll also receive an email to confirm your registration and you can access the page from the email.
Step 6: Start fundraising!
Please go to the Operation Refugee Facebook site. Like it and post your stories. Check out our Social Media Guide.
It’s time now to make the first donation to your self and share this page with family and friends, asking them to support you in reaching your goal.
Please download the Ko te Kete resource pack here. It’s got all you need to know about where the money is going, how to Fundraise and tips for teams.
To help you through the challenge, you can also find the Operation Refugee 2019 FAQs here.
If you have any further questions please contact the Team Leader David Lawson firstname.lastname@example.org 021671 430.
Once again, thank you for registering and best of luck!
